I also said that RCT 1 and 2 are exactly the same language, so the: "the used the RCT 2 engine" argument is invalid.

Since Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 doesn't allow you to change the Park Entrance Fee per scenario, it was an oversight by the developers, which may or may not be easily fixed in an update. They took Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and rebuilt all of Roller Coaster Tycoon: Deluxe's scenarios into the game. Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic is literally a rebuild of Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 not Roller Coaster Tycoon: Deluxe. If you boot up Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, you'll see that you aren't given the options to change whether there is a Park Entrance Fee or not. It's a remaster then dont change the game, especially not the economy. Originally posted by Ezio Auditore da Firenze: This game title is misleading if its build with the RCT 2 engine. That whole issue was for me the 20 euro worth. One where save games actually load instead of new game every start.

I was hoping this game was the same as on this cd-rom but compatible for windows 7 and higher. My very old and first RCT cd-rom has entrance fee. Chances are they won't add in that feature either, because that would require them to actually change the game itself, which they are unlikely to do. Since Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 didn't give you the options to choose, naturally Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic doesn't either. Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic a "Remaster" of both Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 (Plus all the DLC).īeing that it's a "Remaster" of both, they took the game that had the "superior" engine, and recreated the scenarios from RCT 1 with it, meaning. They say it is a remake of the classic first RCT.
